Investigación Científica en Turismo: La experiencia Ibérica

Resumo

In this work a balance of the evolution of the scientific output in tourism is done, from an Iberian perspective, during the years of this century. Only recently, research in this field has finally awakened in both countries, while recognizing, at the same time, the delay of this effort for accompanying the development of an industry of a core
importance to both economies through the generation of knowledge. To this end, we analyze the data provided by the database ISI Web of Science.
