Science, Technology, Society and Environment Education (CTSA) needs to be correlated with Critical Environmental Education (EAC), in an integrative perspective, aiming at forming critical and active individuals in society. With that in mind, the present study aimed to analyze the works published in the minutes of the National Meeting of Research in Science Education (ENPEC), in the period 2011-2019 on CTSA and verify the possibilities of approximations with the EAC, contributing to the field of research and expanding discussions on Science, Technology, Society and Environment. As a methodology for this study, it was decided to carry out a “state of the art” research, mapping works that present in the title and/or keywords the terms “CTSA” and/or “Science, Technology, Society and Environment”. As a form of analysis, Discursive Textual Analysis was used, with the creation of some descriptors, as well as a critical discussion of the researches mapped. As a result, it was possible to perceive that only 10 works present possibilities of approximations between CTSA and EAC, requiring further studies in the area.
