Higher education didactic during the pandemic period: an analysis of that how and for whom to teach

This article is the result of the final work of the discipline of Didactics of Higher Education of the Associated Graduate Program in Physical Education -UPE/UFPB and sought to analyze the teaching in productions on higher education didactics during the COVID-19 pandemic period. This is a qualitative, descriptive, exploratory bibliographic research. The research was consulted in journals published on Google Academic from November 17th to 30th, 2020. The aspects chosen for the analysis of educational practices were: What to teach? How to teach? And who to teach? We observe how technological tools can provide opportunities for interaction. The study showed that the pandemic added new meanings to the development of teachers and academics, providing opportunities for new practices in the teaching-learning process, however, it highlighted the social inequalities and the exhaustion of teachers. Finally, it was revealed that isolation and social distancing enabled the formulation and implementation of innovative pedagogical practices, pointing to the implementation of a strong support structure for students and teachers as well as policies for professional development, with regard to training of teachers.
