The most recent edition of the online journal Indagatio Didactica is now available, the regular December 2024 issue, comprising 13 articles spread across the journal's four sections.

With the exception of the Supervision in Education section, with one published article, each of the other sections has a balanced total of four texts by Portuguese, Brazilian and one Angolan author.

The four texts in the Didactics and Curriculum Development section deal with different themes and specific areas, including the very constitution of didactics as an interface discipline; in the (Digital) Technologies in Education section you can find four articles related to initial and ongoing teacher training; the articles in the section on Policies and Evaluation in Education present studies with different themes and methodologies; the section on Supervision in Education includes a qualitative study which aimed to understand the impact of the Traineeship on professional learning, with a special focus on the development of reflective competence, in a context marked by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Indagatio Didactica editorial team hopes that reading the articles in this issue will inspire the academic and educational community to reflect and act in favour of transformative education, capable of making a significant contribution to (re)building a fairer, more sustainable and inclusive world. It is believed that the knowledge shared here can catalyse collective and individual efforts, promoting an education that fosters essential learning to face the global challenges of the present and the future.
