Author Guidelines

The journal accepts texts in continuous flow, not making calls for papers. The articles must be original, by master’s and doctors, related to the theme mentioned on the page About the journal. The editors, after passing the proposals through the Turnitin plagiarism detector, will then send the texts to two members of the Scientific Committee, thus ensuring a double anonymous peer review. In addition, if they issue different opinions, the text will be sent to a third evaluator for tie-breaking. This procedure must be completed and communicated to the authors within a maximum period of 30 days.

Texts must comply with the following standards:

·         The text to be submitted must be written in Portuguese.

·         Formatting: Garamond type, size 12; 1.5 line spacing; 2.5 cm top and bottom margins; 3 cm right and left margins.

·         Header: title, name(s), institution(s), abstract up to 200 words, 4 keywords.

·         Title, abstract and keywords must appear in Portuguese and English.

·         Bibliographic references: only those referred to in the text and, mandatorily, according to APA 7 standards. See tutorial at: https://www.ua.pt/file/62230

·         Number of pages: from 15 to 30, including graphs, figures, appendices and bibliographic references.

Submissions related to academic work in progress (master's and doctorate) will only be accepted in co-authorship with the respective supervisors.

The images sent (if any) are the responsibility of the respective authors.

Authors should send their proposals in Word and Pdf formats, tocllc-ple@ua.pt
