Itens fonéticos e fonológicos em português e em alemão ─ uma abordagem contrastiva
Abstract
Based on W. Veith’s phonological analysis model (with inputs from E. Ternes, K. Kohler and G. Meinhold), we will study ─ at the segmental level ─ the systemic items of the German language (both phonological, such as the /h/ and the devoicing in final position generating archphonemes, and strictly phonetical, e.g. the glottal stop and the aspiration of unvoiced plosives in initial and final position) that may originate interference and error in the use of Portuguese by native speakers of German.
On the other hand, attention will also be given to the items of the Portuguese language which do not occur in the standard German phonological system: nasal vowels and diphthongs; velar realisation of /l/; phonological opposition between the simple vibrant /r/ and the multiple vibrant /R/ (with the allophones of the latter); palatalisation of /s/ and /z/; fricative realisation of voiced plosives; nasal and lateral palatal consonants. (with the allophones of the latter); palatalisation of /s/ and /z/; fricative realisation of voiced plosives; nasal and lateral palatal consonants.
