Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
• The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
• Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
• The text was developed based on the template made available on the conference site (http://iciemc.pt/paper-submission/submission-guidelines/) and all the required standards have been followed.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the template available on the conference site (http://iciemc.pt/paper-submission/submission-guidelines/).
• No generative artificial intelligence (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and similar) to generate effective content for the article (the use for image generation is allowed, as long as mentioned in the source of the image, as well as for linguistic review).
