Abstract

The paper approaches the accessibility in Parks, having as focus of study a survey done in the Park of the City Sarah Kubitschek in Brasilia, classified as historical and cultural patrimony. The present article shows the accessibility for tourists with disabilities or reduced mobility in this scenario. It is understood that tourism as a factor of entertainment and of hospitality, should be done with responsibility and accessibility. This research is justified because this park concentrates a high demand and due to the lack of research on this topic in Brasília. Methodologically the research is characterized as qualitative with bibliographic research, application of a script of interviews and direct observation. Among the results it was observed that the Park offers several activities for recreation with some places provided with accessibility, there are equipment without functioning, others are in the process of revitalization. It was verified that the public authority tries to minimize the negative problems, dividing the tasks with private companies and the society in general, with the purpose of making the park reference in accessibility in the future.
