Abstract

Hospitality refers to activities that seeks to receive and aggregate the other in a given community, based on unwritten rules that take into account principles of ethics and good manners, with the intention of creating or strengthening ties of friendship (Camargo, 2004; Selwyn, 2004). Based on this principle, this study considers the following problematic: How the hospitality experiences management are presented in community tourism? And, therefore, as a general objective, "Identify how the hospitality experiences management are presented in community tourism". This study is a qualitative-exploratory research, based on the use of the bibliography for the construction of the theoretical basis of study. For the practical research, three Brazilian communities were selected based on their act on tourism, located in the states of São Paulo, Ceará and Amazonas, to collect information, whose answers were organized in the form of tables for analysis of tourist services offered based on the hospitality studies. In the end, it was observed that all domains of hospitality activities were present in the activities of community tourism, given the various possibilities of the contact between the tourist and the community daily, as well as with the members of the community.
