The tourist’s profile in Campos do Jordão (SP) city, by the hospitality places

This article aimed to investigate the tourist profile who visits the Campos do Jordão (SP) city, in São Paulo state (Brazil). Understanding this essential process so that it can keep identifying the characteristics of the city as a place of hospitality, from the perspective of the theory hospitable city categories (Grinover, 2007), which are: accessibility, readability and identity. To assess these categories we used the methodological processes, exploratory and descriptive based on data released by the Observatory of Tourism of the Campos do Jordão, as well as literature and observation of the city’s attractions tourist. The results allowed some alarming initial interpretations, because it’s clear that the city has come a far way of the pillars of hospitality, and may in the future generate intense cases of hostility.
