This study deals with the image of the Creative Cities in Gastronomy of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The research question is: How has the relationship between image, gastronomy and creative tourism been treated in scientific research? The overall objective is to present a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on the relationship between creative cities and images of tourist destinations, from gastronomy, in national and international contexts. The research is exploratory and descriptive, with a multimethod approach and used Mendeley, Excel, Power BI and Iramuteq software. The proposed RSL analyzes the scientific production in the form of scientific articles in the main databases (national and international) on the subject. The sample included 66 scientific articles. It was found that the relevance of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (RCCU) for the central discussion on the image of creative cities in gastronomy and the development of tourist destinations is undeniable. The research presents itself as a relevant support for the RCCU to consolidate its objectives, meeting a sensitive point in common between the dissemination of gastronomy and the image of tourist destinations, namely: sustainability.
