O impacto da COVID-19 nos planos de viagem depois da pandemia

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic had a strong impact on the Tourism sector with a drastic reduction in the number of trips made. The purpose of this article is to verify the impact of the pandemic on tourists’ travel behavior after the pandemic, and how this is influenced by tourists' perception of safety in relation to travel and what measures they consider essential to resume their travels. For this, a questionnaire survey was applied to 311 individuals, which reveals the importance of continuing to apply hygiene and health measures, as key to increasing the perception of safety and the decision to travel, which is expected to increase progressively over the course of the next few years.
