Abstract

This study aims to understand the importance that women have in the tourism sector for gender equality in the Sustainable Development Goals. A systematic review of this content was carried out, using the Scopus database, and 13 scientic articles were selected for analysis. The results show that from the analyzed articles, the role of women in the tourism sector is fundamental for its sustainable development.
