Abstract

The paper aims to ascertain the current tendencies of the offer of memorable experiences by music hotels. In this context, it begins with the theoretical framework supported in the Economy of Experiences associated to the hotel industry. The results show the growing recognition of the importance of the theme and the concern for the narrowing of the association between the hotel industry and cultural and creative domains. In order to offer deeper and more transformative experiences to guests, music hotels tend to value the distinctiveness and architectural uniqueness of design, interior design, memorabilia and the availability of music-related activities such as events, concerts and even the possibility of enjoyment of a music studio.
