Histórias de Macau (Stories from Macau) is a book that was written by Altino do Tojal about his passage through Macau. It is a work, which, in terms of literary genre, questions the reader. The text plays on this genre challenge, as well as on the relationships between literature and referentiality.
This text is historically dated, by temporal and spatial description with threads that link it to present time. This is a challenge for the reader to enter the world of cultural interplay between the characters and heritages from the West, China, and Macau. This book is also about that, as you will see.
