O projecto ATHOC como uma instância DAVIC

Abstract

ATHOC (ATM Applications Over Hybrid Fibre-Coaxial Networks) is a project within the ACTS (Advanced Communications Technologies & Services) programme that has developed technologies, systems, services and applications that have been integrated in a set of precommercial demonstrators. In this paper, the ATHOC systems are analysed accordingly to the DAVIC (Digital Audio-Visual Council) methodology for systems instances development and theirs capability to support the DAVIC multimedia applications are evaluated.
