Software application for data visualization and interaction in a location routing problem

Abstract

This paper describes an application developed for Windows platforms, which is meant to be used for inputting data and visualizing results of a Location-Routing problem of obnoxious services and materials. The main goal of this application is to provide, through a “usable” user interface, an intuitive of inputting the information needed to solve the problem as well as to visualize and analyze the results. This paper also describes the techniques used both for designing the dialog and for information visualization.
