Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to document the development of a software platform that makes easy, for users with few technical knowledge, the composition and publication in a Web server, makes documents available in a Web interface under theme classification, supports searches related to documents and other info resources in the database. The work is also targeted towards the identification of new techniques for information distribution and for the acquisition of personalized user profiles. The software platform under development is based on appropriately tailored software agents paradigms and isbeing developed in the framework of the activities of the Institute of Telecommunications, Aveiro branch.
