Experiência de teleformação do projecto ESTIA

Abstract

The ESTIA (Vocational Training of People with Special Needs in Computer-Based Working Environments) project of the Horizon programme intended to contribute for the effective use of the information and communication technologies to support disabled people and its main goalswere the development of new applications, the dissemination of best practices in the use of the available technologies and the integration of a group of people with cerebral palsy in the information technologies labour market. The present paper, besides a generic presentation of the ESTIA project, presents the followed training strategy and refers the use of the video telephony in a distance training program.
