Análise de medidas experimentais de um sistema MBS

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of a set of experimental measurements acquired with a mobile broadband radio system prototype developed in the SAMBA (System for Advanced Mobile Broadband Applications) project framework. First, a brief descritption of the SAMBA trial platform used in the measurement campaign is presented. Then, measurements collected in an urban environment are analysed so as to evaluate the system performance, focusing on the cell coverage and bit error rate. This study is made analysing parameters such as: power level, bit error rate, fitted parameters to the Ricedistribution to model the fast fading, level crossing rate,average fade duration and correlation coefficient of the signals received in the two diversity antennas.
