Abstract

As part of a Computer-Aided Diagnosis system, a method to detect the occupancy of the costal diaphragmatic angles was developed. This paper presents the details of implementation and the results of tests on a chest radiographs database with 130 images. The results are good for the occupancy detection and not so good for the segmentation of the CDAs. Further developments are proposed.
