Análise, caracterização e simulação do processo de dispersão inelástica estimulada de Brillouin numa fibra óptica monomodo

Abstract

We report the investigation of stimulated Brillouin scattering in monomode optical fibres. The physical origins of the process and the analytically models used to describe it are presented. The stimulated Brillouin scattering process in an optical fibre is experimentally characterised and the results compared with simulation ones.
