Abstract

This paper presents the PlImGHerVi-W3 (Platform for the Implementation and Management of Virtual Herbariuns supported by WWW), a platform that makes possible the implementation and management of a Network of Virtual Herbariuns with support for reference botanical information. This platform allows to define, on the same infrastructure, multiples individual and autonomous Virtual Herbariuns. Through the PlImGHerVi-W3 it is possible to pass to the digital world all the real world Herbariuns related aspects.
