Simulador de sistemas de comunicações óticas: OSIP 2012

Abstract

This paper presents the potential of the new version of OSIP, OSIP 2012. considering the application in research and for teaching purposes. Also, the coherent systems are introduced and some of the concepts related with channel impairments. At last using the new features of the simulator, the performance of an optical coherent system will be assessed.
