Abstract

The problem of this study is to understand which educational technologies are used in the implementation of distance or blended disciplines in face-to-face courses. Its general objective is to report how students perceive the use of educational technologies in blended learning. It is a multiple case study. It uses the exploratory type qualitative approach, having as corpus the institutional documents, the reports of participant observation in six disciplines and the statements of seventy students, collected through a semi structured questionnaire and nine interviews. For the content analysis, it used the methodology proposed by Bardin. The results point to weaknesses in the use of online tools. There is a need to use other digital media in addition to texts, web conferences or YouTube videos. The use of social networks, mobile devices, games, MOOCs and adaptive platforms appears incipient.
