This article is a partial product of ongoing research, the purpose of which is to study and understand the curriculum of History and Geography subjects for the complementary and final stage of Youth and Adult Education in the city of São Paulo/SP, considering the gap left by BNCC with the exclusion of curricular parameters for this type of basic education. The methodological procedure used is documentary analysis in order to catalogue, analyze, compare and discuss based on official documents that corroborate the research premise regarding the researched object. A priori, the research does not yet have concrete results, due to the fact that analyzes and document processing are ongoing, and due to the need for detailed analyzes and reflections, we have the responsibility to expose only what we have as concrete facts about the subject. under discussion in the research. However, it is possible to infer that the gap left by the non-existence of a minimum curriculum at BNCC, for the aforementioned subjects, generates educational losses.
