Spirituality emerges as a significant vector in the comprehensive development of students, transcending academic performance to impact ethical, moral, and emotional dimensions. The research conducted in November 2023 utilized electronic databases such as ERIC, REDALYC, CAPES, and MENDELEY, with the following descriptors: spirituality AND school. Data collection revealed 142 articles, from which 10 quantitative studies involving 15 different countries were analyzed, involving a combined sample of 15,476 participants to investigate the influence of spirituality in high school settings. The results indicate that spiritual practices and positive beliefs are crucial for students' well-being, providing emotional support and enhancing resilience against psychosocial challenges. Furthermore, spirituality contributes to better adaptation to the school environment, favoring mental health and personal growth among youth. These findings underline the need to integrate spirituality holistically into educational practices, aiming for more comprehensive and profound student development. The research emphasizes the importance of future investigations and initiatives that recognize spirituality as an essential component in the educational context, reinforcing the need for a more inclusive and extensive educational approach. This study contributes to the body of literature by highlighting the role of spirituality in the educational setting and suggesting that the inclusion of this dimension can significantly enrich the students' experience and education in high school.
