Spirituality in education is a topic that arouses growing interest and debate. While the traditional educational system often focuses predominantly on the intellectual and academic development of students, the inclusion of the spiritual dimension aims to address the deepest and most significant aspect of human existence, that is, an integral development of the student. This research aimed to conduct an integrative review of the literature to access studies carried out at school and which dealt with the topic of spirituality, with managers, school staff, teachers, students and families. For this purpose, the Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), Capes Periodical and Scielo databases were accessed, using the PRISMA methodology for literature review. The descriptors used were Spirituality and Education in all bases, from 2018 to 2023, in the languages: English, Portuguese and Spanish. From the search in the databases, 305 articles were found, 13 of which were used for qualitative analysis. There are studies on the subject on all continents of the planet, and the different methods used to collect data from participants can be seen. Researchers in the educational field have shown the importance of integral development that includes the facet of spirituality in the school context, to provide benefits, not only to students, but also to society as a whole. The review brings several instruments used to assess the spirituality of students, teachers and school managers, as well as intervention actions to work on spirituality in the educational environment.
