Abstract: This article initially conducts a search in the Masters in Education and Masters in Human Development dissertations at the University of Taubaté, between 2012 and 2021, to identify which works include, in their title, that is, they have as central importance, the descriptors “EAD”, “Distance Education”, “Information and Communication Technology” and “ICT”. The database of the two programs total 299 searches. Of these nearly three hundred, 10 had one of the descriptors in the title. In a second step, this article analyzes the 10 selected dissertations with regard to objectives, methodology and results. As a summary, from the study, there has been a significant increase, in recent years, of interest in the topic of distance education and education technology in scientific productions, and it was concluded that, despite the use of technologies in the classroom, being shy or little institutionalized, especially before the pandemic caused by Covid-19, there is an agreement that digital technology is no longer dissociated from the classroom and that it needs to be increasingly experimented, researched and incorporated into the dynamics of classroom.
