Análise das potencialidades do iPad® visualizadas nos vídeos do YouTube™ no âmbito das Necessidades Educativas Especiais

Abstract

The dissemination of the Internet, especially the Web 2.0 communication tools, has increased the establishment of social web based communities and user generated content sharing. YouTube’s user generated content constitutes data with great potential on the research field. The present study leans upon corpus latente to unveil iPad’s potential over Special Educational Needs. The methodological options are sustained by a qualitative paradigm on an exploratory approach to the problem. The video analysis made with WebQDA software suggests that the iPad ® has the potential to increase autonomy and learning opportunities in children with Special Educational Needs.
