Condomínio industrial: um estudo de caso em uma montadora automobilística

Abstract

The present study aims to establish, by observing the practices of logistics management of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (company automaker headquartered in Catalan- GO), relations between the methods performed in an automotive assembler and contributions to theoretical postulates concerning logistics - especially with regard to the concept of industrial condominium (which is the specific subject of this study, analyzed from the perspective of the suppliers of the organization studied). For this, we carried out a descriptive research in relation to their goals; with qualitative approach; literature revision and case study, as the technical procedures for collecting and analyzing data, and among the instruments to collect such information, the interview was the chosen method. It was found, therefore, that the system of industrial condominium developed at Mitsubishi, afforded gains in competitiveness through the development of an efficient logistics system with positive consequences for all involved. The Industrial Condominium is an agglomeration of companies is becoming increasingly common and the fruits of this integration are visible to industrial plants that implement such a method.
