A vivência do agente comunitário de saúde: um estudo explorátorio em uma unidade básica de saúde em Santos/SP

Abstract

This article is a systematization of community’s health agents reports in Radio Clube Basic Health Unit – area northwest Santos city/SP about their experiences, showing facilitators, challenges and feelings produced in development of their work. It was use qualitative search, with most importance for speech of subjects about their experiences, performing building reports based on the perspective of the collective subject discourse. The route methodological was bibliographic review, contact with professionals and reviewing documents of the Santos’s City Hall. It concluded by speech of agents: feelings of satisfaction coupled with worries over responsibility for the work, besides the overload of activities and sense of not belonging to staff health. With facilitators highlights the affections with users, staff and challenges the need for understanding about work of the agents by other professionals donates of unity and team work. It understood that history of implantation of community’s health agents Program and primary work outside of the community’s health agents can influence the recognition agents while producing care. Strategies are needed for sensitization about importance this professional and great appreciation institutional. How important actions, says the reception and training continues, addressing job execution and its double bind, both as a member of the community and producer subject of health care.
