Abstract

In this paper we present results of the research project Epistemology and Psychology in Education: insights about the conceptual processes between academic students of chemistry. Through semi-structured interviews with students in the 5th year of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from a Brazilian public university investigated the processes of conceptual elaboration of the term Relationship Education. The interviews were recorded, transcribed and analyzed based on the approach of Historical-Cultural Psychology. In this paper we present some selected excerpts from the speeches of three students. We conclude that the processes of development are meanings throughout the teaching career, are constructed and processed in accordance with the past history and, the effort to understand how relationships occur through the education space that demarcates institutionalized school discourses, behaviors and identities teachers.
