This work intends to promote supervision practices developed during the design, implementation and restructuring of educational activities applied in the teaching and learning of Biology. In this study, the process of reflection on practice was emerged which was based the interaction between thinking and action; it was explained the collaborative, self-reflective and self-training in the professional development between two teachers of different countries and contexts (Portugal and Czech Republic) with particular emphasis on self-and peer-supervision of teaching practices, and its impact caused in improving the quality of their students’ learning. The main results show that from the shared reflection emerged the reconstruction of knowledge, while the supervision (self and peer) managed the reconstruction processes. The study allowed also to point out the advantages of self and peer supervision of Biology teaching practice of the 10th level school year, concerning the motivation and the students’ learning quality in an online environment.
