It is with great pleasure that we present this special edition of Indagatio Didactica, which brings together 78 articles selected from the oral and poster papers presented at the IX Ibero-American STS Seminar (IX SIACTS), held at the University of Aveiro from 8 to 10 July 2024. The central theme of the event was ‘Challenges of STS Education and the Goals of the 2030 Agenda’. The articles published in this issue are mostly in the Didactics and Curriculum Development section of the journal, reflecting a diversity of approaches and theoretical perspectives on STS education, with a focus on the complex relationships between Science, Technology and Society (STS) in the contemporary educational context.
