Chemistry for sustainability in teacher training

The main aim of this presentation is to show the role of Green Chemistry, or Chemistry for Sustainability, in Science Education and Teacher Training, and to withdraw contributions from this scope to the Science of Sustainability and, therefore, to the development of sustainable societies. For this purpose, we will present results from a research on the attention that teaching and research have given to the contributions of Green Chemistry and to the possibility of its incorporation in teacher training, in order to provide better educational opportunities towards citizenship and the adoption of measures that may contribute to the development of a sustainable present and future.
