Abstract

This study aims to investigate aspects of schooling and teaching practice in the first year of the teaching career of a professor of mathematics on the topic Systems of Equations for greater knowledge of the teacher. The method used was the analysis of documents, in particular your personal collection. The study shows that the teacher considered very early chose the teaching profession and the classes in the school year 1999/2000 were marked by expository teaching style based on solving exercises and appealed to the adopted manual and a summative evaluation concern.
