Literacia da Informação no Ensino Superior: proposta de módulo de formação em Educação a Distância

With this paper we intend to present a proposal for a Distance Education training module in Information Literacy – Research and selection of scientific information sources for Higher Education students of 1st year of 2nd Cycle. Thus, it was applied a questionnaire to a team of training on Information Literacy of a Portuguese University Academic Library. The aim was to understand the methodologies and tools privileged for a free and short duration training module for this subject, crossing measured data with reference documentation and (inter)national studies. The main result of this study is the conceptualization of a training module within the defined framework, with the benefits of availability and portability possibilities that Distance Education provides.
