The VPCT2020 was organized by the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD, Vila Real, Portugal) between November 5th and 7th, 2020, and took place entirely online, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
VPCT2020 was a multidisciplinary forum for presenting, sharing and discussing reports of teaching and research practices on Science and Technology (S&T) teaching practices, at all educational levels. It hosted teachers and researchers in the teaching of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Physics and Chemistry, Engineering and Technology from Angola, Brazil, Argentina, Spain and Portugal.
The texts, selected and now published in Indagatio Didactica, are articles on research focused on S&T teaching practices.
This special issue of Indagatio Didactica is a contribution to disseminate research, carried out by teachers and researchers in various sectors of activity, on formal and informal teaching practices in S&T.
