In recent years, the participation of young people in environmental problems has increased due to insufficient awareness of these problems, which are deepening in the consumer society. The inclusion of environmental education in formal settings is an imperative to ensure sustainability objectives. This paper analyzes the projects presented by students as the final work of a teaching proposal integrating the disciplinary content with the development of concepts associated with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The environmental projects were designed and carried out by students in the last year of middle school in a rural town in the province of Santa Fe. The implementation of the proposal made it possible to account for the appropriation of disciplinary contents, the development of communication skills and teamwork, and the involvement of young people as protagonists and key actors of the community in the transition towards sustainability.
