This paper presents a course of teacher training in the Innovative Learning Environments curricular unit of a Master in Digital Resources in Education. This course is organized in four modules and began with the characterization of ILE and its principles and the study of how the competences for the XXI century can be developed in ILE. In order to promote teacher education with the essential knowledge for the use of AEI, innovative pedagogical approaches were explored. A major task was the design and discussion of learning scenarios in ILE and reflection on their contribution to teaching practices. This descriptive and exploratory case study used rubrics to evaluate teachers’ outcomes and a focused group interview. The overall assessment of the functioning of the ILE curricular unit shows that teachers have been satisfied with the competences they have developed regarding the contribution of the ILE to the innovation of teaching and curricular management, which may contribute for changing of their practices.
