Teaching practice of a mathematics teacher regarding systems of equations

This study aims to investigate aspects of the teaching practice of a Mathematics teacher, regarding Systems of Equations in the academic year 1989/1990. The data were collected from the official curriculum guidelines, the manual adopted, the daily notebook of a student and the interview made to the teacher. Content analysis and cross-checking were performed. The study considered shows that the teachers’ classes were marked by an expository teaching style, based on the resolution of exercises and the manual.
