We provide the enjoyment of an intrinsically modern artistic creation for those who carry on believing in the aptitude of verse to shed some light on the shades of an historical context – the 1960’s – that has deeply influenced the daily life of both the Spanish and the Portuguese. The assertive writing of the poem «Postal a Federico García Lorca», as well as the extraordinary social, cultural and civic message encapsulated in it by Antonio Pereira, contribute in a crucial manner for poetry to still embody the most precious means to communicate circumstance.
