Among Oswald de Andrade’s poems we find, on occasions, a few whose brevity and mastery are worthy of a more thorough analysis, even surpassing the poem’s few lines. It is certainly the case of «Dithyramb», a poem that allows the reader to infer the poet’s intent to write poetry with unrelenting starkness of style, an ideal he has pursued throughout his life.
