Pervivencia de la fábula latina en la literatura española: Fedro en Mey, Samaniego e Iriarte

Abstract

This article deals with the Classical tradition of the Latin fable in Spanish literature. We seek to study the influx of Phaedrus’s fable in three Spanish fabulists: Sebastián Mey (17th century), Félix María de Samaniego and Tomás de Irirarte (18th century).
