Abstract

The aim of this paper is to refl ect upon J.L.Borges’s short story «Emma Zunz» which, due to the protagonist’s course, permits us to analyse her apprenticeship as an emblem of literary apprenticeship, emphasizing intransitive mimesis, rewriting and performance.
