O poliedro da linguagem: as difrações imagéticas em «a pedra que não caiu»

Abstract

Maria Gabriela Llansol’s writing destabilizes the fi xed structure of literary genres, allowing an intense dialogue among them. In the short story «A pedra que não caiu» (Os pregos na erva, 1962) it is possible to notice an action-free plot over a structure that exalts the sounds and explores the potentiality of the text trough the «cenas-fulgor» (in the author’s own expression). Therefore, there is a dislocation of narrativity towards textuality that invites us to face the stone word as a polyhedron able to emanate infi nite imagery.
