Abstract

This article focuses on the chronicles of the awarded Mozambican writer Mia Couto in the collection Cronicando. The writing Time (Kronos, coin of its faces, memory and forgetting) is unveiled in its relations with history, collective memory, the intangible heritage and the chronicles analyzed as a hybrid literary genre, representation of in-betweeness and wandering.
