Bastardia: o grande azul e os seus encantos

Abstract

Through her work Bastardia, the writer Hélia Correia, offers us a woman that undergoes a metamorphosis and becomes, from infertile, peaceful and serious, fertile and a witch. This transformation has to do with the pact that she, with the help of the village’s witch, made with the Devil, in order to conceive the main character of the story – Moisés – son of the sea.
