The theater of the existence and resistance: Old age in Passagens by Teolinda Gersão

Abstract

Passagens (2014) puts us before a subject that hasn’t been exactly approached in literature, let alone in the society: the old age, whose universe causes repulsion because it refers to an age of losses, dependencies and illnesses. Teolinda Gersão allies this universe with the theater of daily actions that is also focused on the form of the narrative.
